Myth or Fact?

I honestly don't think time traveling is possible, but why else would a women casually have a cell phone pressed against her ear in 1928? I think that time traveling could be a theory. To support my theory, I would say that a woman from the future traveled back, and even without service, she pretended to be on the phone to see if anyone would notice. We did notice just a while after it happened.

Sustantivo(Bird of Paradise)

If I could be any animal I would be a bird. One reason would be because I would love to soar through the air at amazing speeds with the wind blowing against me. If I were to be a specific type of bird I would be the Blue Bird of Paradise because they are absolutely beautiful with a lovely shade of blue and touches of other bright colors. They also live in warm rain forests that are wonderfully pretty.

Oreo!

Penguins are so cute you could just eat them, like Oreos! I would name the penguin Oreo because the colors on the Penguin correspond with an Oreo and because Oreo is just an amazing cookie in general.

Suicidal Second Graders

Little kids are so dramatic sometimes and a lot of the time we go over the line of  being theatrical. "I'm gonna jump" Kaitlin claimed as she stood on top of a five foot slide. "This could be brutal" I thought to myself. Kaitlin had just moved to Wellington and was apparently not liking our school. "Don't do it!" I screamed in horror thinking she would really get hurt falling off of a five foot slide, but I was young and naive. "I can't stand it anymore!"Kaitlin shouted frustratedly. "Fine. Jump, but when you get in hurt don't say it was my fault," I said, giving in to her suicidal attempt. Jumping dramatically, Kaitlin screamed and landed perfectly surprised at what a short fall it was. Finally, she realized that her suicidal trial had failed.

Beneath Earth's Surface.

I don't know how I would be able to stand it underground, trapped for even a day, but if I had no choice then to stay entertained, the other people and I would maybe share memories or life lessons. We might also talk about likes and dislikes. I would probably feel sad, but I wouldn't show it because I wouldn't want to sadden the mood of the other people so I would probably try to make everyone happy by telling funny stories of my family and friends. The necessities I would want to bring would be: my makeup bag, my iPod, and a couple books. I would bring these things because for one makeup entertains me and it uplifts my spirits. I would bring books because I love to read and write, and if I want to be a writer someday I need to read books to sort of understand how a book is organized. I would bring my iPod because music came make time seem to go by a lot quicker and it could distract you from what kind of situation you're in.

Unpredicted Storm

The clouds turned a dusty, ugly brown from the window of the airplane.  I could see flocks of birds flying the opposite way of our plane, like they were flying away from bad weather.  The atmosphere inside and outside of the plane sounded unusually quiet and seemed fretful.  I tried to push my worries away and keep calm.  Planes have always intimidated me and the mood of my surroundings weren't helping my fear.  Suddenly, I felt the plane whip to the side from a gust of wind.  My heart was beating rapidly and my hands were beginning to shake.  My mind went blank other than this one question, "Am I going to step off of this plane alive?"  The intercom came on abruptly and made me jump.  The pilot of the plane was speaking in panic when he said, "I will need everyone to stay calm when I say that we have run into an unpredicted storm.  I heard the passengers around me gasp.  The wind picked up, you could feel it pushing the plane back as we were flying forward.  Suddenly, I heard rain and hail violently hitting the top of the plane. I silently thought to myself, "I'm no scientist, but the weather foreshadows a tornado." I felt the plane jolt to the side as the wind had whipped us upside down. We were spinning uncontrollably. The passengers were screaming.  My body was being pulled in different directions. After what I thought seemed like an hour we were actually right-side up and alive. We looked to the side and saw a funnel shape come down from the sky. The passengers screamed from the top of their lungs. I was actually witnessing a tornado in the air. The wind was pushing us sideways and the hail was falling harder on the top of the air plane. "This is going to be an immediate landing. Please don't panic," the pilot said assuringly. The plane jerked and bounced to a frightening stop. I went into a trance of shock that I was still alive. Everything was a blur up until the moment I stepped out of the metal door of the plane. The sense of not being in motion and getting off of the plane felt amazing
