An Unbreakable Bond

The sun gleamed off the murky water. A slight breeze blew my hair softly. The leaves in the trees around us rattled slightly as the wind blew. I could feel the soft grass beneath me. I never spent much time with my dad because he was always working, but on this beautiful summer day he promised me that he would teach me how to fish. After dropping my fishing pole in the water a couple times I finally got the hang of it. We heard quiet steps behind us and when we slowly turned around a golden-colored deer was grazing the grass right behind us. My dad handed me some corn and I held it out to the animal. After a little while I could feel the deer's wet tongue slurping up the food. I was so excited that this wonderful animal actually got this close to me. I looked around completely content with the stunning nature, the soft stir of the water and the bond that grew between me and my dad. I knew I would never forget this moment.
